SAN DIEGO AND SOUTHERN RIVERSIDE COUNTIES (Wire Service) - The threat of thunderstorms in San Diego and Southern Riverside County mountains and deserts prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood watch effective until 6 p.m. today, August 22.
