Veteran's Transition Assistance Program course to be held at Miramar

MIRAMAR - Marine Corps Air Station Miramar was selected as a pilot location for a weeklong program aimed at helping veterans transition into civilian life.

Miramar was chosen for the Transition Assistance Program Goals, Planning and Success course because San Diego's large veteran population and the air station's experience with transitional classes, according to Miramar's public affairs office.

The course focuses on four pathways for veterans returning to civilian life -- college and university, career or technical training, employment and entrepreneurship.
