Girl fight at party ends in arrest

TEMECULA - On Sunday, September 2, 2012, at about 12:07 A.M., officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to Rancho Springs Hospital concerning an injured patient. On arrival, officers spoke with an adult female who told them she was in a fight with another adult female at a party. Investigation revealed the following:

The victim was at a residence, in Temecula for a birthday party. During the party, the victim and Sara Baroody, age 23, started arguing. While arguing, Baroody hit the victim with a closed fist. Baroody and the victim then started hitting each other. Baroody picked up a wine glass and hit the victim.

Officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to the location where the incident occurred and located Baroody and a witness. The witness described the incident as the victim explained it to officers. Baroody was taken into custody and later booked into the Southwest Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.
