Rally for Children event includes music, art and golf

FALLBROOK – “Canapés, Cars & Chocolate” will be part of the fun at the upcoming Rally for Children’s fundraiser. Rally members Stan and Janine Hall have offered their spacious home property to hold the event on Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. Featured will be food and wine along with musicians, artists, golf demonstrations, and a silent auction. A special raffle will offer a week in Mammoth for eight or a wine cooler stocked with premium wines.

Fundraising chairman Donna Reisbeck-Stoewer has assembled a hors d’oeuvre buffet that will present Rally member’s best recipes. Cookbooks will be available for purchase. Rare vintage cars along with the latest hot cars and motorcycles will be displayed. The Halls’ property lends itself to tropical attire and there is more than ample parking on location. Tickets are $50 and can be obtained from Reisbeck-Stoewer at (760) 723-7197.

Rally for Children raises funds to continue funding Arts in the Park (AIP), a free family event held every spring at Live Oak Park. The next AIP will be the 20th year for the celebration. Rally funds also go directly to health, welfare and enrichment programs for children in the Fallbrook/Bonsall area. For membership inquiries, call Christi King at (760) 723-6911.
