Senior Center plans mah-jongg tournament

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Center will host its first couples and singles mah-jongg tournament on Sept. 14. A donation of $15 per person will include a buffet lunch, snacks and refreshments. The tournament will likely be a popular event at the center, which is located at 399 Heald Lane. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.

Prizes will be awarded for high and low scores at each table. The highest score for the day wins $50, and other prizes will also be available.

The doors to the tournament open at 12:30 p.m. and play will begin at 1 p.m. Parking is available in two nearby lots. Call chairman Araxy Moosa at (760) 723-2262 for further information and for reservations. All proceeds go toward senior center programs.
