Magnitude-3.1 Quake Shakes Idyllwild

IDYLLWILD - A 3.1-magnitude earthquake rattled Idyllwild today, but there were no immediate reports of damage.

The temblor was recorded about four miles southwest of the mountain community at 2:09 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
