Has 9/11 been forgotten by many?

I wish to thank the North County Fire Protection District and their supporters for orchestrating a wonderful 9/11 Memorial at the fire district station on Ivy St.

It was much smaller and more intimate than last year’s extravaganza, but just as poignant.

I must confess that I am disappointed in both of our communities for the lack of turn out. I bet we only had 50 locals attend, max.
