In the third quarter of their Oct. 13 game, Isaiah (Zay-Zay) Cole (#5) scores the second Fallbrook Mitey Mite Warrior touchdown against the Rattlers in the play after Joshua Lyons (#83) made an amazing catch and ran the ball just short of the goal line.
In addition to his catch and long run touchdown set-up, Warrior Joshua Lyons (#83) was one of the most valuable players of the game with strong tackles all over the field including five sacks!
Amazing flying tackle by Fallbrook
With just minutes left in the game, Mitey Mite Warrior Sebastian Anderson (#13) makes a key strip to regain possession of the football just yards from the Rancho Penasquitos goal line. It was the surprise play that clinched the Warrior win!
FALLBROOK – The 7 to 9 year old Fallbrook Pop Warner football players remain undefeated at home after their game against the Rancho Penasquitos Rattlers on Oct. 13. The entire Mitey Mite Warrior team played with integrity and intensity to win 12-6.
Led by head coach Shawn Perry, both strings of offense scored touchdowns (Isaiah Cole #5 and Sebastian Anderson #13). Coach Shawn Brown’s defense stayed strong throughout the game with Joshua Lyons (#83) getting multiple sacks and Damian Medrano (#47) remarkably intercepting a goal line pass and consistently putting up some of the hardest hits on the field.
The Mitey Mite Warriors have a 5-2 overall winning season so far. Fallbrook is proud of its youngest tackling team!
