Marching Warriors take first place in competition

MURRIETA – The Fallbrook Marching Warriors scored an average of 190 out of a possible 200 points by judges at the Vista Murrieta High School Field Competition on Oct. 6, which gave the Marching Warriors the highest overall music score – not only in Division 1A, but in 2A and 3A as well – putting them in first place among bands much larger, and more established.

One week later, on Oct. 13, the Marching Warriors did it again, placing first in division 1A at Rancho Buena Vista High School. What a way to begin the marching competition season! Not bad at all for a band that nearly...
