Fallbrook Senior Citizens Service Club receives foundation grant

FALLBROOK - Recipients of the Home Delivered Meal Program of the Fallbrook Senior Center will benefit from a grant given by the Legacy Endowment Community Foundation.

“Thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Legacy Endowment Community Foundation, we will be able to provide meals for the home-bound elderly who are financially unable to donate,” said Virginia Cooke, executive director of the Fallbrook Senior Center. The foundation funded the grant with money from the Elisabeth Wilson Endowment, designated to benefit programs for senior citizens and disabled individuals in San Diego’s North County.
