Retired teachers learn about bats

FALLBROOK - Members of California Retired Teachers Avocado Division 81 were involved with bats at a recent brunch meeting.

Wearing hats to celebrate the Halloween season, members were informed and entertained by speaker Cindy Myers from Project Wildlife. Myers told about the different species of bats, some native to this area. New member Martha Guajardo stepped into a bat costume while Myers explained how bats function.
