FALLBROOK – VFW Post 1924 in Fallbrook recently sponsored a baby shower for military moms at the local VFW hall.
The 9th Communication Battalion had 22 moms-to-be (and families) that enjoyed a dinner, games, and raffles. The post donated $500 and the ladies auxiliary matched the $500 and they purchased cribs, car seats, strollers, and Pack and Plays to give as the grand prizes.
Fallbrook’s local knitting group, “The Knit Wits,” donated beautifully made baby hats, booties, and sweaters....
