Recycle thievery reduced

My heartfelt thanks go to Lt. Robert Haley and Deputy Jim Emig of the

Sheriff’s Dept., Jeff Richie and Bob Hill of Edco. They took the

complaints of our neighborhood serious and worked to solve the

problems. Our neighborhood was overrun with recycle thieves and we

have had a rash of vehicle break-ins and property theft.

Edco sent out a supervisor several times to talk to these people, but to no

avail. The Sheriff became proactive and staked out the area, caught

one and hauled her off to the station where she was told she was not

wanted here and if she showed up again, it would be jail.
