Kathryn (Kay) Plummer Geddes died peacefully Oct. 14, 2012, at the age of 90, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 30, 1922 to John and Mollie Plummer, after whom Plummer Street in San Fernando Valley is named. She was a seventh generation native Californian and a direct descendent of Juan Arguello, the first governor of California under Spain.
