Mabel Lee

Mabel Lee, 92, died Sept. 20, 2012. Born Feb. 6, 1920 in San Francisco, Calif., Mabel had made Fallbrook her home since 2000. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1942 with a business degree in accounting. She helped her husband run the family business, Palace Market, in San Jose, Calif. during the 1940s through 1960s. She continued to help her husband in other business enterprises until their retirement in 2000. Jerry, her husband of 60 years, preceded her in death in 2002.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Mabel Lee to Haas School of Business, 2001 Addison St., 1st Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704-1177.

Mabel, friend to all who knew her, will be remembered for her beautiful personality, her kind, warm smile and her quick wit. She loved life and lived it to the fullest to the very end.
