Construction is set to begin in December on a project to build a new 88-seat outdoor amphitheater at Fallbrook’s Live Oak Park. The project, which also includes the planting of 25 additional young oak trees around the proposed theater, is scheduled to be completed by May of 2013.
Funding for the $503,000 amphitheater will be provided mostly from donations made to the Live Oak Park Coalition, said Al Gebhart, chairman of the coalition.
According to Gebhart, the amphitheater is another effort by the coalition to make improvements to the nearly 100-year old park.
