What is socialism?

What I hear from the Democrats is, “Take from the rich and give to the poor. The rich Republicans only care about themselves and don’t want to help anybody else.”

A true socialistic country is one where everyone contributes to the pot and everyone enjoys benefits from the pot. This system works very well in small countries like Denmark.

Unfortunately, the US does not have the ability to work this way. We have too many people taking from the pot without ever contributing to it. We have generations of families being taught how to get welfare, never expecting to work for anything. A person can ne...
