Locals win medals in pickleball

FALLBROOK – Despite the challenging summer heat, nothing could cool the enthusiasm and turnout at the San Diego Senior Olympics (SDSO) in pickleball held in September at Castle Creek Golf Resort. Over 170 players participated during the three day tournament.

Players traveled from Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Washington, Arizona and all over California to compete and to renew friendships with pickleball pals. This year SDSO allowed players aged 40 to 49 to join in the competition.
