Wins over Carlsbad, Vista even spikers' league record

Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball team lost its first two Avocado West League matches but evened its league record at 2-2 with wins Oct. 9 at home against Carlsbad and Oct. 11 at Vista.

The two wins also gave the Warriors an 8-7 overall season record.

“We changed a few things, and we pass and serve-receive a lot better, so we were able to use more hitters,” said Fallbrook coach Robin Reese.

“The flow of the game was much better because we didn’t have as many serve-receive errors,” Reese said. “Our girls are starting to produce more, getting more blocks.”
