The format for the San Diego Open boys water polo tournament Oct. 22-27 involved the top eight seeded teams playing most of their matches against each other. That limited Fallbrook High School to a 1-4 record, although three Warrior players received all-tournament honors.
“That was a little disappointing,” Fallbrook coach Bill Richardson said of the score results.
