Warrior netters second in league, reach CIF quarterfinals

Fallbrook High School’s girls tennis team finished second in the Avocado West League standings and reached the quarterfinals of the CIF Division I team playoffs.

The obstacle to both the Warriors’ quest for a league championship and Fallbrook’s post-season hopes was La Costa Canyon, who was responsible for both of Fallbrook’s league losses and defeated the Warriors in the second round of CIF play. Fallbrook ended the team season with an overall record of 12-6, including a 1-1 playoff figure and the 8-2 league statistic.
