Fallbrook High School’s field hockey team shared first place in the Avocado League standings after the first round of league play.
The Warriors’ 4-1 league record included a loss to Vista but an Oct. 16 home win against Rancho Buena Vista, who defeated Vista in the first round of league games. Vista and Rancho Buena Vista also entered the second half of league play with 4-1 records.
“I’m very happy with that,” Fallbrook coach Kirstin Mueller said of sharing first place after the first half of league competition.
