FALLBROOK – In celebration of the 25th anniversary of her business, Joanne Prestininzi of Fallbrook Country Escrow invited local real estate professional friends to join her on Nov. 1. Over 75 agents, title representatives, and loan brokers joined in the festivities, bringing a plethora of food to the event. Bob Hillery spoke about the respect local real estate professionals have for Prestininzi.
Prestininzi started her escrow career 36 years ago at the Charter Bank of London in Escondido. After a year there, she went to Southwest Bank in Fallbrook for seven years before starting her own business 25 years ago.
“[The business] has changed so much since then,” said Prestininzi. “The forms were simple and only two or three sheets, now it seems to be reams.”
Married to husband Michael just 4 years ago, Prestininzi likes to get away to the couple’s home in Palm Desert as often as possible.
“The relaxed atmosphere of the desert helps to clear my head of the paper cobwebs that accumulate doing escrows,” she said.
Prestininzi hosts the weekly marketing sessions before the Wednesday ‘Caravan’ attended by local Realtors.
“It’s a great way for all the people in the industry to network and exchange ideas,” she said.
