Republican Party needs to wake up

A good friend of mine wrote this: “President Obama’s victory over Mitt Romney is a study in the demographics of a rapidly changing 21st Century America.

“For the Republican Party to survive, its smarter dinosaurs need to wake up to the realization that their rapidly accelerating extinction is significantly tied to the fact that a political party held hostage by right-wing lunatics and catering to the self-centered needs of privileged white men cannot compete in an increasingly diverse America – or one that chooses to remain sane.
