Authorities Alert Public to Arrest of Perris Basketball Coach

RIVERSIDE - Riverside County sheriff's officials today asked any witnesses or other potential victims of a Perris High School volunteer basketball coach charged with two dozen sex-related felonies to come forward.

Dominic Leon Evans, 49, of Perris could face life in prison if convicted of multiple counts of lewd acts on a minor, sexual penetration with a foreign object, sodomy on a child under 16 years old and possession of child pornography.

Evans is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.
