TEMECULA - (SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE) -On November 28, 2012, at about 1:40 A.M., officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to a robbery that had just occurred on Pechanga Parkway near Clubhouse Drive in Temecula. Their investigation revealed the following:
A young female adult was walking on Pechanga Parkway near Clubhouse Drive when she saw a vehicle parked on Clubhouse Drive near Pechanga Parkway. A male subject exited the car and walked towards the female on Pechanga Parkway.
When the male got close to the female he grabbed her by the arm and threw her to the ground. The male jumped on top of the female and the two began to struggle. The male yelled at the victim to, "Shut up!" He then grabbed the victim's wallet from her hand and fled back to his vehicle.
The suspect got into his vehicle and drove away southbound on Pechanga Parkway. The vehicle was described as being an older model compact car, possibly a metallic green-colored Honda Civic.
The suspect was described as being a black male adult, about 30 years old, with a dark complexion, about 5'-8" tall, and weighing about 160 pounds.
