St John's hosts Thanksgiving dinner

FALLBROOK – On Nov. 18, 40 residents and their families at Sierra Heights Senior Apartments on Fallbrook Street were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal courtesy of St John’s Episcopal Church. Members of the congregation prepared five turkeys and a full course traditional dinner including pumpkin, apple and pecan pies for dessert.

Members of St. John’s, as well as several youth, greeted their guests and served up plates heaping with Thanksgiving fare. After the all guests were fed, volunteers joined the residents for food and camaraderie
