Vehicle drives into Temecula IHOP, pedestrian hit by oncoming car receives minor injuries

A vehicle that almost drove into a Temecula restaurant also hit a pedestrian that was in its path on the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Around 11 a.m., firefighters responded to IHOP Restaurant on Temecula Parkway to a call of a vehicle vs. pedestrian and collision of a building, according to a witness.

The driver ran over a “Handicap Parking Only” sign and a bench placed in front of the building. The vehicle stopped shy of the windows of the restaurant where customers gather daily to enjoy breakfast around the clock.
