Public encouraged to participate in bone marrow screening event to help save lives

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, along with LifeStream, will host a bone marrow screening drive on Friday, January 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Sun City Fire Station #7, 27860 Bradley Road, Sun city, CA 92586.

This event is in support and recognition of Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Salvador Aguirre. Unfortunately, this past May, Deputy Aguirre was diagnosed with Acute Monocytic Leukemia (AML) and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant.
