Men accused of robbing Moreno Valley jewelry store, shooting clerk plead not guilty to felony charges

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Three men accused of holding up a Moreno Valley jewelry store and shooting a clerk before fleeing onto a freeway and leading police on a multi-county chase pleaded not guilty today, January 3, to a string of felony charges.

Jerome Bernard Allen, 23, Damine Lavonte Banks, 30, and Traevon Cortez Vidaud, 24 - all of Los Angeles - could face 38 years to life in prison if convicted of attempted murder, robbery and gang activity with multiple sentence-enhancing gun and great bodily injury allegations.
