Sheriff's investigators seek public's help locating suspects in commercial burglaries in Idyllwild and Garner Valley

IDYLLWILD - Riverside sheriff's investigators were seeking the public's help today in locating suspects involved in a series of commercial burglaries in the communities of Idyllwild and Garner Valley.

The robberies began in late October and have continued through Friday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The suspects, striking in the early morning hours, have targeted businesses in downtown Idyllwild and a market in Garner Valley, according to the sheriff's department.

Unspecified details of the crimes have led investigators to believe they were committed by the same suspects, officials said.

Images of two late-model vehicles that may have been involved were captured by a surveillance camera. One is a silver Dodge Magnum and the other a silver Toyota Camry with chrome rims.

Anyone with information about the burglaries was urged to call the sheriff's Hemet Station at (951) 791-3400 or sheriff's dispatchers at (951) 776- 1099.
