Elizabeth Hospice needs volunteers; training offered in February

ESCONDIDO – The Elizabeth Hospice is seeking caring people to participate in its winter volunteer training which will be held three consecutive Saturdays, Feb. 2, 9, and 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Elizabeth Hospice administrative office, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido.

Volunteer training is free and open to the public. Bilingual volunteers, pet therapy volunteers, and military veterans are needed. Graduates of this volunteer training course will serve hospice patients and their family members that live in the graduate’s community.
