Man sought in connection with trying to lure 9-year-old Fallbrook girl into car

Sheriff's Dept. authorities said they are seeking a male suspect in connection with an incident that took place yesterday afternoon, Thurs., January 17, near La Paloma Elementary School in Fallbrook.

Sheriff's Lt. Todd Richardson, described the incident that took place at about 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Heald Lane.

"Fallbrook deputies responded to the La Paloma Elementary School to investigate a report of a nine-year-old female student being asked to get into a stranger's car," said Richardson. "Deputies arrived on scene and spoke to the student."
