RIVERSIDE - The all-lanes closure of a stretch of the Riverside (91) Freeway, which was scheduled for next week, will not be necessary after all, Caltrans officials announced today.
Both the eastbound and westbound sides of the 91 were slated to be shut down at 14th Street between Jan. 28-30 to facilitate the installation of new girders for an overcrossing at Brockton Avenue.
The contractor was able to complete the work without detouring traffic, and the planned freeway shutdown has been canceled, according to Caltrans....
