Sheriff's Dept. investigates death of pedestrian struck by semi

MORENO VALLEY (Wire Service) - An investigation is underway into the death of a 46-year-old Homeland man who was struck by a semitrailer on the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway in Moreno Valley.

Ricky Anderson was hit at 7:24 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, on the westbound 60 just west of Theodore Street and pronounced dead at the scene at 7:36 p.m., according to the Riverside County sheriff's coroner.

Anderson's death is being investigated by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department....
