The biggest difference between a fan and a player is that a fan never steps foot on the field. They never go to the practices, never take the hits and never help an injured player off the field.

In comparison, there are a lot of Christians that fit the description of a fan. But it goes something like this... They believe in God and Jesus but they never belong to his family, they never serve in his house to help proclaim his name, and when the time comes to help someone in need it always seems to be an inconvenient time.
