Art Assoc. to feature award-winning artist

FALLBROOK - The next general meeting of the Fallbrook Art Association will be held Monday, March 11 in the community room of the Fallbrook Library at 124 S. Mission Rd. A special ‘Eat ‘n Critique’ session will begin at 5:30 p.m. Attendees may bring in two “in-process” paintings to receive helpful suggestions from the featured demonstration artist Subodh Maheshwari. The general meeting and demonstration will begin between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served before the meeting. Guests are welcome to attend for $5.

Born in India, Subodh Maheshwari now lives in Corona. Winner of several awards in a variety of categories, her work is collected and shown nationally and internationally. She is a member of several art organizations and teaches art to all ages. Her art is a fusion of Eastern symbolism and Western composition influenced by Rajasthani and Mogul art, and it is accented by Hindi and Sanskrit passages.
