Participation encouraged in Fallbrook Prayer Quilt project

FALLBROOK – The effort is ongoing by the Fallbrook woman’s club to make prayer quilts to send to the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., who have been devastated by the many lives taken from their community in December.

Workshops have been created for those interested in helping. Experienced quilters are volunteering their time to teach others. The workshops are free.

Workshops are available on: Friday, March 8; Monday, March 18; and Monday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Woman’s Club, 238 W. Mission Rd.
