FALLBROOK - Soroptimist of Fallbrook recently honored Denise Nealon with the club’s Women’s Opportunity Award in the amount of $575. The award is designated for a woman who is the primary financial support of her family, attends a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program, and has a financial need.
Nealon is currently attending MiraCosta College as a full-time student and will graduate in May. She plans to continue her education at UCSD this fall while at the same time being a full-time mom to her three young daughters who all have a 4.0 or above grade point average...
