Fahnestocks celebrate 75 years of marriage

FALLBROOK – Fred and Jessie Fahnestock, residents of Fallbrook for 12 years, celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on March 11. Fred is 99 years old and Jessie, 94.

The celebration was attended by over 50 friends and relatives from as far away as Hawaii, Delaware, Indiana, Connecticut, and Massachusetts in addition to several locations throughout Southern California.

The couple married in 1938 in Los Angeles and lived in South Gate after the war in 1945 for over 30 years. They then moved to Lake Forest before moving to Fallbrook.
