FALLBROOK - A Cessna airplane flying out of Fallbrook lost engine power and landed upside down in Temecula, but no one was seriously hurt, an FAA spokesman said today, Sun., March 24.
The pilot of the Cessna 172 made a forced landing Friday afternoon at Butterfield and Murrieta roads, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said.
The pilot flew the single-engine airplane alone and was taken to a hospital for minor injuries. FAA online records listed John R. Buehman, of Fallbrook, as the registered owner of the airplane.
Buehman was flying from Fallbrook to French Valley Airport. The FAA was investigating the crash, Gregor said.
