FALLBROOK – St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School recently implemented the third phase of its educational technology program.
“Our teachers and students in grades four through eight are now equipped with new tablet computers,” said Linda McCotter, principal.
For tablet computers in junior high grades, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD device is used, and grades four, five and six have the Amazon Kindle e-reader device. All tablets contain digital textbooks and are used for assignments and homework. The junior high tablets also allow for filtered Internet access to help teachers and students perform research on special projects.
