Some people may now know him as the Priceline.com negotiator, and while he rose to fame in Hollywood for his talent and charisma, outside of ‘tinsel town’ he is one of the most genuine stars of his time. Shatner has always had a soft spot for horses and children and has made quite a name for himself through his philanthropy. In fact, he famously auctioned off his kidney stone and subsequently raised $25,000 for Habitat for Humanity back in 2006...
