Oceanside cribbage team squeaks by Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – The Oceanside Senior Center cribbage team made it three wins in row against the Fallbrook Senior Center team in the 35-player Senior Challenge held March 21. The Oceanside team won 66 games, compared to 61 wins for Fallbrook.

Fallbrook’s Wilf Ash won six games with a skunk to take first place. Ray Potwora from Fallbrook also had six wins, but without a skunk for second place. Joanne Thompson and DeForest Mayo (last month’s winner) each had five wins with two skunks for third and fourth. Willie Williams of Oceanside was smiling when he showed his 28 hand.
