'All for One' charity event to benefit two animal rescue non-profits in Temecula

TEMECULA – An ‘All for One’ charity event to help abandoned and neglected animals in Riverside County will be held at Villa Chardonnay Equine Sanctuary in Temecula on April 20 from 1 to 6 p.m.

The event is open to the public and will include entertainment, artwork, and plenty of delicious food.

Two dedicated animal rescues, Villa Chardonnay Equine Sanctuary and ARK, the Animal Rescue Kompany will be combined for the first time to raise awareness to the plight of abandoned animals in need.

Villa Chardonnay Equine Sanctuary focuses on rescuing and providing a permanent home to horses, goats, donkeys, dogs, and cats.

ARK has a successful dog and cat adoption program and successfully partners with PetSmart for its adoption program.

Guests will enjoy plenty of delicious gourmet tacos, beverages, and pizza generously donated from The Pizza Factory in Temecula. Award-winning wines from local Temecula vineyards will be available as well.

Live and silent auctions will showcase original artwork, a selection of wines from Temecula vintners, a luxury oceanfront vacation, entertainment packages, local services, sports memorabilia, electronics, theatre tickets and more. Renowned artist, Chris Monson, will display his equine artwork and showcase his talent by completing an original piece during the charity event.

Children and adults may visit and feed all the rescued horses, two mini-ponies, goats, dogs, cats and a turkey name Erik.

ARK will host an “Adoption Day” during the event for the adoption of dogs and cats. Participation includes petting and feeding carrots to the horses, face painting, and visiting the great grandson of Triple Crown Winner Secretariat – Nitro Active, a 7-year-old thoroughbred race champion who now resides permanently at the sanctuary.
