We should pay more attention to the State Legislature

The importance of state government cannot be overemphasized. Laws, regulations and taxes that affect us daily are a direct result of state legislation. If you buy gasoline, have children in school or pay state income taxes, you are directly impacted by actions taken in Sacramento.
