103-year-old goes back to school

FALLBROOK – On April 17, 103-year-old Bess Palmer, a resident of Silvergate in Fallbrook, visited a first grade classroom at Growing Tree Academy in Vista. Palmer was brought as a “show and tell” feature.

The class had just finished studying about the concept of 100 and Palmer was a living example of the concept. The students each had at least one question for the guest. Palmer was able to share very interesting things with them and the many changes she has seen in her lifetime.
