Village Rotary to present 5th annual Luau on June 1 to benefit charity

FALLBROOK - The Fallbrook Village Rotary Club announces it will host its annual “Luau at the Hukilau” fundraiser on Sat., June 1. This always-fun event will be held, as usual, at the Fallbrook Golf Club, 2757 Gird Rd. starting at 4 p.m.

The Luau features a traditional Hawaiian feast, with a Kailua barbeque, Polynesian entertainment of music and dancing and, for the first time, the very popular “The Hula Girls” band.

As is customary, to raise funds, this event will feature some impressive silent auction and raffle items. Proceeds from these and ticket sales will go to support various local charities and community organizations, selected local high school and elementary school programs, Camp Pendleton Marine family support, and Rotary International’s worldwide effort to eradicate polio from the face of the Earth.

Tickets for the event are $55 per person or $525 for a table of ten. Visit http://www.fallbrookvillagerotary.com or call club president John Crawford at (760) 728-5799 or the club’s charitable foundation president Erica Williams at (760) 468-1721. Those interested in making a donation to the silent auction are encouraged to call as well.
