Bridge Replacement Project to Require Shutdown of 60 Freeway

MORENO VALLEY - Sections of the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway will be shut down this weekend, requiring eastbound and westbound motorists to take a detour.

Partial freeway closures are scheduled both tonight and Saturday night at Nason Street, according to city officials.

Crews will be tearing down falsework supporting the current Nason Street bridge in preparation for a replacement, officials said.

To minimize disruptions by keeping at least one side of the freeway open, the work will be done over two nights.
