Alice Ione Peikert

Alice Ione Peikert, 103 years old, passed away peacefully April 25, 2013 in Carlsbad, Calif. Ione was born on August 27, 1909 to James Monroe Whiting and Etta Root. She is survived by grandchildren Tom Appleton, Lori Gabrielson, Cindy Lembke, Chad Hults and Christine Peikert; great-grandchildren Rachael, Tommy and Erik Appleton, Alexis and Reed Gabrielson; eight great-great-grandchildren, along with countless loving family members and great friends.
